50's Racing Party
My good friend and neighbor wanted to have a 50's themed racing party for her husband's birthday. Her husband used to race cars on old the Beeline Dragway outside of Mesa and she wanted a party that would remind them both of those fun times.
My husband is also quite the car guy so this party was very close to my heart. I also spent many Saturday nights at the old dragway cheering my voice away. I had an especially good time designing the center pieces. I was able to find some old license plates at flea markets and was able to create some unique bases to showcase vintage pictures of the happy couple and simple floral arrangements.
